Eve
The name Eve means “life” and she was the foremother of all humankind.
Eve lived a life free of sin in the Garden of Eden together with Adam. However, God expelled them both from Paradise after the Devil, in the form of a serpent, tempted them to taste the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge.
Tradition has it that the forbidden fruit was an apple, and Eve is depicted with an apple in her hand, while the demonic snake twists around her feet.
